Sharing My Own Journey of Healing
In whatever toxic ‘ships’ I have been into, I have never lost myself until I entered marriage. This marriage has brought me so many lessons which I never thought them to be lessons in the beginning, not until I had my spiritual awakening.
Growing up in a religious family, I have been practicing religious rituals for years. Then after so many ‘unanswered’ prayers, I felt guided to do meditation. I followed my intuition and I haven’t left meditation ever since.
To be totally honest, through meditation I could find myself again. I could hear my own inner guidance a lot better. Instead of looking outside of me, the guidance is already inside of me all along. All I have to do is just be quiet and listen with my heart.
The art of listening to my heart is not easy. I had to go through certain purging process. Forgiving people who have wronged me and then letting it all go and can finally be at peace with whatever has happened in the past. But I also need to remind you that forgiving people can’t be forced. It needs to come from within. The timing is everything. You will know when you finally ready to let go.
In my case, I finally understand the lessons behind every challenge and heartbreak or betrayal. I know now that my story and my journey can help people who have similar experiences. I hit rock-bottom so I thought, hey I got nothing to lose, right? So, I chose to forgive and let go of anything that doesn’t serve me anymore, including memories of the past.
In short, the point that I want to share here is to never doubt your own intuition. If you feel that you need to meditate then meditate, if you need to exercise then do that, or rest if your body needs that too without feeling guilty. Always listen to your own inner guidance. But first, to get a clear message, there is the art of this.
What is the art? For me personally, I would meditate first. After everything is clear then ask for guidance, maybe from my guides, God, etc. I would know when I am ready.
Some can be done through spiritual practices too, but if you feel you’re not religious then you might want to consider doing breathwork or even yoga.
There are many ways of connecting to higher power. Your heart is always connected. All you have to do is listen…..
